Rain has formed as expected to the south and east of the Dallas Fort Worth area. With its northerly movement, Rockwall and Dallas Counties will see some showers this morning.
Some of this rain may sneak into parts of southern Collin, southern Denton, and Tarrant counties as the morning wears on.
Afternoon highs will be held down underneath the clouds, into the low to mid eighties, but areas that see more sun out west of I-35W may jump up into the upper eighties today.
Friday afternoon will continue the trend for region-wide isolated to scattered rain chances. However Friday evening looks to be much drier for most. Greatest rain chances for Friday are confined to far southern North Texas and portions of Central Texas. #txwx #ctxwx #dfwwx pic.twitter.com/X2HrDw8uWf
