A new weather week has arrive and so will Summer this Saturday at 6:44pm! Three months of HEAT on the way.
Our weather story today and tomorrow has more heat, a bit more humidity and a slight chance for a peak heating storm. Best chance will be east of DFW today, anywhere across north Texas tomorrow.
Any storms that do form will contain dangerous lightning, brief gusty wind and quickly vanish after sunset. Highs will be in the 90s.

Late this weekend, the upper level ridge of high pressure may slip into the desert southwest. If this happens, it'll open the door for a cold front to edge our direction. If this happens, it will most likely stall close to north Texas and increase rain chances for the first time in a while.
