Good afternoon!
Mosquitoes haven't been that bad, unfortunately, give it a week and that will change.
It's been very dry from the beginning of April through last Friday, but due to the healthy rainfall totals the past 36 hours, lots of ponding and puddles gave accumulated in areas you forget about.
Make sure you dump out any standing water stuck inside objects or gutters that are not cleaned out on your property. These are breeding grounds!
We are now over 8" above normal on rainfall for this time of the year and have made up the 3" deficit since early April.
Now it's time to dry out this week with only a small chance of an isolated storm late Tuesday and Wednesday. High temperatures will be in the nineties by the middle of this week.
Some data is hinting that another significant weather change may happen next weekend ...with a lot of rain and possible severe weather, but we're still days away from that...so let's enjoy the nice weather while it's here!
Have a great rest of your day!
