The threat level for the immediate Dallas Fort Worth area is very low today, however, a weakening line of storms will most likely affect us some time tomorrow morning between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.

This being said, an isolated strong to severe storms may break out between 1:00pm and 5:00 p.m. today, along and north of Interstate 20 and would be racing north at 45 mph.
You don't see a level 5 out of 5 very often. Not everybody will see these conditions in the threat area, however, one needs to have a safety plan in place from noon to 9pm today in the pink (5), red (4) and orange (3) areas...just in case.
