The World's Only St. Paddy's Pickle Parade & Palooza
If you like pickles, boy have we got the party for you.
The 9th Annual World's Only St. Paddy's Pickle Parade and Palooza is a family-friendly, two-day event in Mansfield that includes pickle contests and pickle runs. Food options include pickles of course, as well as barbecue, corn dogs, and turkey legs. There will also be live music, corn hole tournaments, a pet parade and the famous Pickle Queens. The big pickle parade takes place Saturday afternoon.

St. Paddy’s Texas Style in Lewisville
St. Paddy’s Texas Style in Lewisville will include live entertainment (including bands and Irish dance troops), carnival-type activities for kids - including a 40-foot zip line - bounce houses and face painters. Most activities are free. But Epic Axe Fort Worth will be there as well for those 12 and above to try their hand and throwing an axe. $5 for 5 throws or $10 for 10 throws. Great food also available for purchase.

The Office! A Musical Parody

Conference USA Basketball Tournament
One of the most unique college basketball tournament setups in the country comes to the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco. For four glorious days, the football practice field at the Ford Center becomes two basketball courts. 24 teams (12 women & 12 men) battle it out for the automatic berths to the NCAA Tournament. On the men’s side, the University of North Texas Mean Green are the top seed, and a favorite to win the tournament.

If you love listening to scary stories, tall tales, or personal yarns, head to Denton for the Texas Storytelling Festival. The Tejas Storytelling Association presents storytelling concerts, music, ghost stories, kids activities, a story slam, a liars contest, workshops, and more. It’s three-and-a-half days of stories to feed your heart, mind, and soul.
