Man, I Feel Like a Woman Event - Dallas

Kick off the women celebrating the queens of Country with a tribute to the 90's at the "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" night at the Rustic. With live music and a 90's costume contest, from Shania to LeAnn, local artists and friends will come together to celebrate women in music.

Doggie Splash Day - Mesquite
at Vanston Pool
And it's the dog days of summer and dogs and humans can both take a dip at and an end of season pool party in Mesquite. Competitive pooches can enter the dog paddling race, diving contest, swimsuit parade and a pet and owner lookalike contest. It all takes place on Saturday morning from 9am-12pm in Mesquite.

North Texas Margarita Festival - The Colony
at Lava Cantina
Then head on over to the North Texas Margarita Festival where over 25-hundred margarita lovers will be voting on the "Best Margarita in North Texas". The event takes place on Saturday from 12pm-6pm and will feature live music, drink samples, street tacos, a beer garden, and a trip giveaway to Mexico. All proceeds benefit Dallas CASA.

Meat Fight 1K - McKinney
at Tupps Brewery
And want a friendly competition without a lot of physical activity? Join the Meat Fight 1K in McKinney. Participants are challenged to eat their way through the 1K course stopping for barbecue, hotdogs, tacos, burgers, beer and more. Doors open on Sunday at 6pm and all of the proceeds go to the National MS Society.
