Country music fans are kicking the weekend off at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth where George Strait will take stage on Friday night. Nick Jr. Live!Grand PrairieAnd for the younger concer goers, check out Nick Junior Live at the Theatre at Grand Prairie. You'll see the Bubble Guppies, Shimmer and Shine, Dora, and Ryder and Chase will be on the case as Paw Patrol takes the stage, as well. If you don't know who any of those characters are, don't worry. Fort Worth is the place to be this weekend if you want to get in the holiday spirit, beginning on Saturday night in Sundance Square when the annual Tree Lighting ceremony takes place.

Sundance SquareUndeniably one of the best in Texas, the tree lighting festivities will begin on Saturday at 6pm. GM Financial Parade of LightsFort WorthThen on Sunday night, the GM Financial Parade of Lights will take place beginning at 6pm - when over 100 illuminated floats make their way through downtown Fort Worth. Santa wil be making an appearance, as well. You will be dazzled with 4 million lights set along 2 miles of path. Hundreds of new displays in shapes of all kinds line and arch over the roads. Halfway through the drive get out of your car for a stop at Holiday Village where you will find food, gifts, Santa, a brand-new indoor Holiday Show, and the Holiday Magic Lighted walk-through forest. The second half of the drive ends with the very animated light tunnel – the perfect finale to a night you will never forget!
