Sherry Doucette began doing yoga so she could deal with stress. She loved it so much her husband told her she should consider teaching it because her passion for yoga was so apparent.
But not long after, she and her husband got some devastating news. After months of pain and a visit to the hospital, Doucette's husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and the prognosis did not look good.
Before he passed, he told Doucette he wanted to help other men deal with stress and teach them how to take care of themselves. Weeks later he was gone.
After the initial grief, Doucette vowed to honor her husband's memory by targeting men, specifically black men, for a yoga class that she named "Broga." Now, she's changing lives.
She's this week's KRLD Difference Maker.
