Cold front is through the Weather Nest, skies are clearing, temperatures are starting to cool off as the sun sets in the western horizon.
Grab your jackets and layer up if you're heading to any of the high school football playoff games this evening. Wind will pick up from the north at 10 to 15 mph and temperatures will fall through the fifties through the 4th quarter.
We'll wake up tomorrow quite chilly, but seasonable, with most areas falling into the upper thirties. Sunny with highs in the fifties tomorrow.
Another system comes through on Sunday cooling as down even more with some chilly rain around north Texas. It's not out of the question that a few wet snowflakes mix in towards evening, especially along and north of highway 380.
