ADDISON (1080 KRLD)- Addison's Independence Day celebration will return to its usual spot this year after being moved on-line last year. Kaboom Town will be back at Addison Circle Park on July 3rd.

Last year, the city moved its massive fireworks display to a remote location and put video of the show on-line. It was part of an effort to prevent large crowds from gathering that could spread COVID-19.
This year's event will be back in Addison at its usual time, along with performances from several musical acts and a fly-over from planes at Addison Airport.
There will be limited capacity at the park. The only way to guarantee a spot in the park is by booking an Addison hotel package. There are 22 hotels within the city of Addison.
For those without a hotel reservation, tickets are required to get into the park. Those tickets are free and will be available on-line starting in June.
