Artspace 111 - Fall Gallery Week: To 40 More!
Twice a year, the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA) invites you to take in the visual arts during Gallery Night in Fort Worth. For the first time, Fort Worth's Fall Gallery Night on Sept.
12th kicks off Fall Gallery Week! To encourage smaller crowds and visitor safety, they're inviting you to explore participating venues from Saturday Sept. 12th – Saturday Sept. 19th 2020.
And right now, Artspace111 is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a new open-ended group exhibition of select work by currently represented Artspace111 Artists. The group exhibition, To 40 More!, honors the artistic community that has supported Artspace111 since 1980 and highlights the future of the gallery as it enters a new decade.

Billy Bob's Concerts
Concerts are finally back at Billy Bob's in Fort Worth. This weekend there are a full slate of performances. On Friday night, Mark Chestnut takes the stage. And on Saturday, Ned Ledoux will play. Billy Bob's reminds you to arrive early, as COVID-19 protocols mean it will take longer than normal to get into the venue.

Cowboys vs Falcons
A limited number of tickets remain for the first Cowboys home game this year.
Dallas is one of just a few NFL teams allowing fans into their stadiums right now. It will be a socially-distanced crowd with tickets only sold in pods.
There are lots of other COVID-19 protocols fans need to be aware of, including a mask requirement. Of course, if you choose not to go, listen to the game on our sister station, 105.3 The Fan.

Dallas Arboretum: Autumn at the Arboretum
Autumn at the Arboretum highlights the nationally-acclaimed Pumpkin Village featuring four 20-foot-tall decorated pumpkin houses and creative displays fashioned from more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash. With the theme, "The Art of the Pumpkin," the Dallas Arboretum's popular festival features one of "the Best Fall Festivals to Celebrate the Season" by Country Living Magazine. The event opens on September 19 and runs through November 1. Autumn at the Arboretum features breathtaking colors of fall including 150,000 autumn flowers accented by pumpkins, gourds and squash from Floydada, Texas. The festival features the return of the popular Mommy and Me Mondays and Tiny Tot Tuesdays, a hay bale maze, a pumpkin patch with pumpkins for purchase, music and more.

Fair Play at the Statler
Downtown Dallas' iconic Statler Hotel, is creating a property-wide, fully immersive and interactive experience to pay homage to the state fair tradition. There are fair-inspired menus for DFW Restaurant Week. The hotel's 12,000 sq. ft. Statler Ballroom will transform into "Fair Play At The Statler" – an interactive state fair-inspired installation and activity zone, which is open to the public and will provide ample photo opportunities throughout. The event will feature artistic build-out activities such as a buttered Elvis and Cotton Candy Corral, kids' activities, games, food and drink tastings, and more.

Fletcher's Pop-Ups: Lake Worth & Arlington
With the State Fair of Texas cancelled this year, Fletcher's is upping its pop-up game. On Thursday, Fletchers is outside Atwood's Ranch and Home in Lake Worth. On Friday, it's Revolver Brewing Bldg 5 Tap Room in Arlington. Not only will Fletcher's have their famous corny dogs, but also curly fries and funnel cakes.

Last Ditch Drive-In Concert Series: The Gold Brothers
The pandemic has been extremely tough on the brewery industry. Armadillo Brewing Company is getting creative with their concert series. They're calling it a last ditch effort to stay in business while waiting to get the go ahead that it's safe to reopen. So this concert with The Gold Brothers is being held drive-in style. There will be food (from Boca 31) and drinks for purchase. You'll also need to purchase a spot to park your vehicle. No alcoholic beverages are allowed inside of vehicles. But you can sit in your lawn chair and enjoy yourself.

Legacy West Friday Night Movie: Friday Night Lights
On Friday nights in September, Legacy West is hosting "Friday Night Lights Movie Nights." So, naturally, this Friday's movie is another football movie: The Blind Side. You'll go up to the 6th-floor parking garage, and watch the flick on a 30-ft, outdoor screen. The movie starts around 8:30 p.m.

Perot Museum: Reopened to the Public
The wildly popular Perot Museum of Nature and Science finally reopened to the public on last weekend, and this weekend there are some minor changes, as it also introduces Friday hours. There are new public-health protocols, ticketing procedures, reduced hours, and 25% occupancy limits. Because of the strict occupancy limits, guests are highly encouraged to purchase their tickets online ahead of time for their timed entry into the Perot.

The Stockyards Championship Rodeo
Grab your boots and Cowboy hat! This rodeo is back! The alive and kicking rodeo is every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m.
(Friday...it's "Free Kid Friday"...buy an adult ticket and get a kid's ticket free!) It's in the Cowtown Coliseum. Rodeo organizers say you can feel safe as you watch the live rodeo action because they are enforcing social distancing and everyone has to wear a facial covering. Giddy up!
