Globe Life Field will be rocking for the first two games of the American League Championship Series -- despite the fact that the games will be played in Houston. That's because the team is hosting watch parties at Globe Life Field for all road games of the American League Championship Series.
"It's just a way to celebrate together what's been a great postseason ride so far for the Rangers," said John Blake, the Rangers' executive vice president of communications. "We have the two big screens, and fans will be able to congregate together and hopefully celebrate a pair of Ranger wins."
Besides the games on the two big screens, there will be other things for fans to enjoy as well.
"There are going to be special photo opportunities: Captain and the Six-shooters will both be here," Blake said. "There will be a lot of raffle prizes for discounts, for merchandise, and for concession items."
It'll cost you $10 to get inside, you can sit anywhere, and you can park for free.
The doors open one hour before game time. Game 1 starts at 7 p.m., and Game 2 starts at 3 p.m.
You can buy tickets at rangers.com/watchparty, GlobeLifeField.com, or at the Southwest and North Entrance Ticket Offices on watch party days one hour prior to doors opening.
In Dallas, meanwhile, the team will be having a watch party Monday afternoon for Game 2 at Klyde Warren Park.
"That's a free watch party, "Blake said. "The Rangers' mobile wiffle ball park will be there. There will be some other interactive events too, and the weather is supposed to be great."
If you can't make it in-person, KRLD will also stream Game 2 next Monday, starting at 3 p.m. Click here for the live stream.
