Jax is a 2-year-old, 65-pound lap dog who apparently never got the memo that he’s 65 pounds. His foster says he is quite possibly the cuddliest dog she has ever met! If your lap is available, Jax would like to be in it. If it isn’t, he’ll settle for being within arm’s reach—preferably close enough to stare lovingly into your eyes and sneak in a few kisses.
Jax is equal parts loving, silly, playful, and loyal. He gets the zoomies when something exciting happens, loves flopping onto his back and wiggling around like a goofball, and is always up for treats or attention. He’s potty trained, does great in an apartment, doesn’t chew or scratch, and is mostly crate trained, though he may still whine a bit. He knows sit, shake, and stay and is even working on catching treats! He’s also made great progress on leash and does well overall, although an interesting smell—or a potential new friend—can still get him excited.
Jax has been friendly and playful with every dog he’s met, big and small. Despite his playful side, he’s actually a pretty easygoing guy who is happy with a few shorter walks and spends much of the day napping. He does best with a calmer environment and responds well to boundaries, as too much excitement can sometimes overwhelm him.

King is next to none! At 8 years old, he is potty trained, crate trained, walks amazingly on a leash, and tolerant of other dogs. King is the most polite pup—he’ll sit on the floor at the foot of the couch and only come up on the couch if practically begged. And even then only for a few moments. King allows baths, loves pets, and is food and treat motivated. Like lots of dogs he’ll follow you around your home or lay down and watch you cook, read, etc. King will make an incredible companion in almost any home but would probably thrive in a quiet calm home where he can wander around and enjoy rolling around in the grass. If looking for a first pup, King would be an especially good choice as he is easy and friendly and has zero behavioral problem.

Blue is an 11-month-old bundle of love, energy, and goofy puppy charm. This smart boy loves getting out for walks, playing with balls, chewing on his favorite bones, and sitting on the porch watching the world go by. Brody is a 1-year-old sweetheart who takes being a good boy very seriously! His foster describes him as loving, happy, playful, cuddly, and a true gentleman. He loves playing with his toys, especially his beloved stuffy, Charlie the Cow, and is always up for a game of ball. But what Brody loves most is being close to his people. He’ll gently tap your leg with his nose when he wants attention, place his paw on your hand while you pet him, and happily give kisses in return. And those big puppy dog eyes? Good luck saying no to this boy!
Brody is potty trained, crate trained, and already has some pretty impressive manners. He knows sit, goes into his crate when asked, and even waits patiently for permission before eating his meals. He’s also working on stay and his leash skills, and he’s a great listener! Brody does well with other dogs and has been especially gentle with his tiny Chihuahua foster sibling. He even likes having his paws wiped before coming inside. See? A true gentleman!
Brody has a nice medium energy level and would love a home where he can enjoy playtime, cuddles, and plenty of companionship. Another dog to play with would be wonderful, but he’d also be happy with people who have time for games of fetch and lots of love. He could be a great fit for a family with older kids, too. At home, he’s potty trained, crate trained, and just as happy to settle in for one of his favorite activities: a good nap. Gunther lived successfully with indoor cats and has also done well with dogs one-on-one, though group settings may be a little much for him.
