Jerry Jones says DeMarcus Lawrence could return vs. Bengals, gives CeeDee Lamb update

More help is on the way for the Dallas Cowboys.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told 105.3 The Fan on Friday that Dallas "more than likely" will get pass rusher DeMarcus Lawrence back for their next game, a showdown with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football on Dec. 9.

Lawrence suffered a Lisfranc injury to his right foot in Dallas' Week 4 win against the New York Giants and was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 1. The initial estimated timeline for his return was four to eight weeks.

Lawrence has been working in the rehab group at Cowboys' practice since Nov. 21.

As for CeeDee Lamb, who aggravated his AC shoulder joint sprain in the second half of the Thanksgiving win over the Giants, Jones said Lamb will benefit from the extra rest he'll get before their Week 14 game against the Bengals.

"By the time we get the extra days here between Thanksgiving and the next game, I think Lamb will be ready to go," Jones told Alec Medford and James Trietly.

Lamb has been fighting through the issue since suffering the injury against the Atlanta Falcons on Nov. 3. He had just two catches for 39 yards on Thursday and had three drops.
