DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys are continuing their work to sign all of their picks from the 2021 draft.

Dallas continued to do just that with the signings of fourth-round linebacker Jabril Cox and fourth-round offensive tackle Josh Ball, the team announced Thursday afternoon.

The Cowboys have now agreed to deals with six of their 11 draft picks. Fifth-round pick Simi Fehoko, sixth-round picks Quinton Bohanna and Israel Mukuamu, and seventh-round pick Matt Farniok signed their deals before last week's rookie minicamp.

Cox, 23, went to North Dakota State from 2016-2019 and transferred to LSU for the 2020 season. He was a two-time FCS All-American and a two-time Missouri Valley Conference first-teamer while playing for the Bison. He had nine career interceptions in college. Three of those came last season while playing for the Tigers.

The linebacker has already received rave reviews for his performance at camp.

Ball began his career at Florida State but ultimately transferred to Marshall after his alleged involvement in an unfortunate incident.

Thought of as a developmental prospect, Ball had a breakout senior campaign for the Thundering Herd, and is known for his ability to block with leverage and his ability to move well for his size.

Ball spoke with 105.3 The Fan after his selection. You can listen to it here.

First-round linebacker Micah Parsons, second-round cornerback Kelvin Joseph, and third-round picks - defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa, defensive end Chauncey Golston and cornerback Nahshon Wright - have yet to sign their rookie contracts.
