Dallas Cowboys pick Kansas State OG Cooper Beebe at No. 73 overall pick in NFL Draft

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys have addressed the trenches with their first two picks of the 2024 NFL Draft. And with pick No. 3, they have done it again.

With the No. 73 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Cowboys have selected Kansas State offensive guard Cooper Beebe.

A two-time Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year winner for the Wildcats, Beebe played 942 offensive snaps in 2023, allowing just two sacks and seven hurries from his left guard spot.

In the last three seasons, he has played in 40 games with 2,641 snaps, allowing just two sacks in that time. Per PFF, Beebe had an 83.9 overall grade.

Beebe was a unanimous All-American this past season, a first-team All-American in 2022, and was a three-time All-Big 12 player for the Wildcats.

Beebe is now the second offensive lineman the Cowboys have taken in the first three rounds of the draft, joining Oklahoma's Tyler Guyton in Round 1.

There is a possibility he could shift inside to center with Dallas having a need there. That said, he did not take a single snap at the position in college.
