The Dallas Mavericks faced a difficult test on Tuesday by having to travel to Minnesota to face Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back after taking down the Utah Jazz at home on Monday.
That's why Dallas was a 5.5-point-underdog despite beating the T-Wolves all three times in Minnesota during the 2023 Western Conference Finals.
Dallas appeared to be on its way to a loss after Edwards made six threes in the first quarter to give Minnesota a 34-26 lead an early lead. But the Mavs fought back and were able to hold off a fourth-quarter rally to improve to 3-1 on the season.
