The Rangers continue to add to their rotation, as they have signed left-hander Andrew Heaney to a two-year deal with an opt-out, according to Audacy MLB insider John Heyman.

Aiden Gonzalez of ESPN reports that Heaney's deal is worth $25 million but can increase up to $37 million with incentives.
Heaney, 31, joins a Rangers rotation that includes two-time NL Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom, as well as Martin Perez, Jon Gray, and either Jake Odorizzi, Dane Dunning, Glenn Otto or Cole Ragans manning the No. 5 spot.
A shoulder issue limited Heaney this season, but the left-hander pitched well for the Dodgers when he was healthy. In 72 2/3rd innings of work, Heaney went 4-4 with a 3.10 ERA and averaged 13.6 Ks per 9 innings.
Heaney, an Oklahoma City, Ok. native, has a career ERA of 4.56 in his nine big-league seasons.
