Cowboys questions: Is Micah Parsons starting to slow down?

Though the Cowboys blew out the Giants on Sunday, Micah Parsons was a non-factor from a statistical perspective, as he didn't record a sack or tackle in the game.

While Parsons didn't show up in the box score, he still made an impact on the game. Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News posted one particular play on X, formally Twitter, showing how Parsons' pass rush led to a Neville Gallimore sack.

Parsons expressed his frustration with being deployed as an off-ball linebacker in the game by posting on X, "I ain't been this speechless in a long time!"

He later responded to a post by Sam Williams, writing "Free me then" in response to Williams saying there's "no need to free" him.

On the latest episode of “The Edge with Micah Parsons,” the pass rusher addressed his comments on X.

“I’ve seen a lot of reactions, a lot of fans want to know my thoughts about what I was tweeting, about me playing off-ball linebacker,” Parsons said. “Listen, nobody’s perfect. All teams aren’t perfect. Like I said, it was scheme. They decided they wanted me off ball. I just show up and play. At the end of the day, I have no control over what’s called or what I’m doing. I just got to have faith in the coaches and what’s going on, things like that. There’s nothing more I can put on that.”

But is there more to Parsons' lack of production against the Giants?

Bryan Broaddus and the rest of the GBag Nation discussed what they saw on the tape from Sunday's game on Tuesday's show and discussed if Parsons is getting worn out again like he did midway through last season.
