DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Despite the Cowboys loss on Sunday Night Football, the Dallas defense was able to force Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz into four turnovers (2 interceptions, 2 fumbles).
Cowboys rookie cornerback Trevon Diggs picked off Wentz for his first and second career interceptions.
Safety Donovan Wilson and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch forced Wentz's fumbles on strip sacks.
The Cowboys four takeaways were the most they've had in a game since they had four against the Eagles on Oct. 20, 2019.
With the two interceptions tonight, Diggs became the first Cowboys rookie to have two interceptions in one game since Terence Newman did it against Washington on Dec. 14, 2003.
