Mavericks center Dereck Lively II burst onto the scene as a rookie last season, exceeding all of our expectations by posting nearly 9 points, 7 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in the regular season, and nearly 8 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1 block per game in the playoffs.

Lively teased us by making a three-pointer in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, giving us a glimpse of what else he can do in the offseason to take his game to another level. Well, during the Mavericks' preseason opener on Monday night, he went coast-to-coast, scored, and was fouled on the play.

To summarize, we're excited about the young man's future. But what are reasonable expectations for him in his sophomore campaign?
