One of the biggest addictions Americans face today is the addiction to our phones. Seriously, think about just heading out for the morning and forgetting your phone at home. Could you even function?
Our reliance on our phones is so bad, a new survey found that more than half of Americans request seats in a restaurant near an outlet, just so they can plug in their phones during a meal!
The survey of 1,000 Americans conducted by YouGov found that 63% of us asking to sit near an outlet in a restaurant was acceptable behavior.
The survey also found that restaurant policies Americans are “most divided on” are “offering discounts to guests who provide positive reviews online, not allowing children to dine in the restaurant, offering only communal seating rather than private tables, and having a no-phone policy at the dining table.”
