One of DFW’s favorite places for live music recently announced they are moving to a new location. After 21 years in Addison, Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar will be packing up and heading to Frisco. The popular venue will be opening up a new location at The Star later this year.
Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar opened up in Addison back in 2001, and has since become a staple for those in Dallas looking for a high spirited musical show they can sing along with. However, the Addison location will soon close in anticipation for the new location at The Star.
“Over the recent years, we have noticed more and more of our clientele coming from a larger radius in North Texas so when a spot opened up at The Star in Frisco we felt it was the perfect fit to offer a more centrally located destination for our guests in a new and improved building as well,” said Pete's owner Corey Urbach.
According to Dallas Culture Map, the new location will be located at 6765 Winning Drive #810. The 5,400-square-foot space can accommodate seating for 300, with high-quality sound, lighting, audio/visual equipment, and acoustics. While the Addison location closing is tough for some, at least they aren’t leaving DFW.
