With the holiday travel season beginning, November is usually a busy time for the airlines. But not this year.
Rather than adding flights, American Airlines is cutting nearly half its schedule in November, 46 percent because the Coronavirus has killed demand for air travel, according to reports.
And it's not just American. In Dallas, Southwest Airlines announced last week it was cutting more than one third of its November schedule.
Southwest is also asking the unions for pay concessions for the first time in the company's 49-year history.
