Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager is heading to Texas.
Seager, who was the World Series MVP in 2020 and two-time All-Star, reached a deal with the Texas Rangers, according to the Associated Press.
It’s reported the contract for Seager is a $325 million, 10-year deal. If confirmed, it would the largest in Rangers history, KTLA reported.
The 27-year-old has been with the Dodgers for seven years. This year, he hit 306 with 16 homers and 57 RBIs this year
Last season, he spent 11 weeks on the injured after breaking his head.
His deal comes hours after it was announced pitcher Max Scherzer would be going to the Mets. His contract is for three years and $130 million.
