It seems just about anywhere there is to go for entertainment in North Texas, alcohol is being served. Of course, sometimes this can be difficult for those that don't drink, which is why one DFW start up is looking to make sure they can enjoy these events as well.
Beyond Booze Beverage Co. is a pop up vendor that plans to bring their alcohol-free menu to events all throughout the metroplex.
With the trend on non-alcoholic beverages on the rise, Reid Robinson and Julie Wade Robinson, who previously owned The Forum and Brizo in Richardson, wanted to make sure they didn't miss the boat. The two recently collaborated to launch Beyond Booze Beverage Co., which is a pop-up vendor that will go to events and offer a menu of drinks that are alcohol-free.
"We'll be presenting about two dozen AF spirits and botanical elixirs including Athletic Brewing Co. AF beer, Seedlip Spirits, and Dallas' own Community NADA IPA, which has become a personal favorite," said Robinson.
According to Dallas Culture Map, the company will launch at a local event on January 14. "We'll be doing pop-ups and social events around town, and we're also working on becoming a vendor at events where we could provide a non-alcoholic and healthful alternative, not unlike a vegetarian having the option to order a veggie burger," said Robinson. Soon, everyone in DFW will have a place to drink.
