In March, Dr. Phil McGraw announced the end of his daytime talk show Dr. Phil after 21 seasons on television.
We knew he couldn’t stay away for long though.
Dr. Phil just announced the launch of his new network, Merit Street Media, which will be anchored by his new show Dr. Phil Primetime.
The network will reportedly be based in the Alliance area of north Fort Worth. According to Dallas Innovates, “dozens” of longtime Dr. Phil staffers have relocated their families to Texas for the project.
Dr. Phil said in a statement, “I absolutely love talking to real people about real problems. People who aren’t just complaining but are actively looking for real solutions to better their lives.
“American families and our core values are under attack. I love this country, and I believe family is the backbone of our society. Together we’re going to stand strong and fight for the very soul and sanity of America and get things that matter back on track.”
Episodes of Dr. Phil Primetime begin taping in December and are scheduled to begin airing February 2024. If you want to attend any tapings, you can sign up on Dr. Phil’s website.
