Today, you can help the family of a fallen Euless police detective who was recently killed by an accused drunk driver.
Cafe Republic in Fort Worth will be donating a portion of its sales to the family of Euless Detective Alex Cervantes, who was killed last month by a suspected drunk driver who ran a red light.
Fort Worth police officer Jimmy Pollozani, who's one of the owners of Cafe Republic, says with surviving family members facing huge medical bills, they could use the financial help.
Pollozani says Cafe Republic will be doing a similar fundraiser for the family of murdered Mesquite police officer Richard Houston at a later date. The restaurant is located at 8640 North Beach Street, just north of Tarrant Parkway.
