HEB sells just about everything a grocery store has to offer, and then some. As many HEB customers know, the Texas-based grocery store chain is known for their variety of products made in the Lone Star state.

Now, HEB has decided to show their Texas pride outside of stores as well, as it was recently announced that HEB will enter the film industry, releasing five documentaries about Texas wildlife and state parks.

‘Our Texas, Our Future’ is a five-part series of short documentaries made by HEB in partnership with Fin & Fur Films. The series will explore the animals, marine life, and public parks systems throughout the state of Texas.

According to Dallas Culture Map, the series is narrated by Texas musician Shane Smith, with his band Shane Smith and the Saints providing music for the documentaries as well.

Those wanting to check out HEB’s first foray into film can see the documentaries screened at Alamo Drafthouse Lake Highlands on August 28.
The films are also being streamed on the ‘Our Texas, Our Future’ website.
