Mattress Mack is a constant of any Houston Astros postseason runs, and regularly puts down massive bets on the Astros to win it all.

Obviously, his wallet took a bit of a beating last night after the Rangers trounced the Astros 11-4 to win the American League pennant.

According to the New York Post, Mattress Mack, real name Jim McIngvale, lost $7.9 million betting on the Astros to win the World Series.

The exact amount Mack bet on the Astros is unknown, saying it was a “deep secret” how much he stood to win had the Astros won.

If rumored reports are accurate, Mack could have won more than $50 million with his wagers.
