An industrial business park is coming to Mesquite, and it's got a new name.
"It was passed under a different name four weeks ago," says Kim Buttram, with the City of Mesquite. "Since that time, it was presented as Creation Real Estate 'RE' LP."
But not anymore.
Last night, the Mesquite city council approved a new name for the project: Mesquite 635.
Buttram says the development will be 555,000 square feet, made up of three buildings built across 38 acres at the Southeast corner of Highway 80 and I-635 / LBJ.
Construction is set to start this year, completion is expected late next year, possibly in early 2023.
