The Community Engagement and Opportunity Counsel is a newly created charity organization with goals to help underserved communities.
Former NFL player and Texas House of Representative member, Scott Turner is the President and Founder and says the CEOC already has projects in the works for South Dallas in particular.
He spoke with KRLD's Kristin Diaz about his goal to help with literacy among other challeges the Bonton community faces.
