Meeting in Las Colinas, NFL owners don't believe games will be canceled due to COVID

After two days of meetings in Las Colinas, Commissioner Roger Goodell says NFL owners have not even considered canceling games because of the league's recent outbreak the Coronavirus among players and team staffers.

About 100 players have tested positive just since Monday, the NFL's most serious outbreak since the Coronavirus outbreak in early 2020.

Two teams, Washington and Cleveland, have 18 players each in the NFL's Covid-19 protocol.

On Wednesday afternoon, as the meetings were breaking up, Goodell said "we feel confident that with continuing changes and adaptations through our protocols that we can play."
