Teams will now be off from Wednesday, Dec. 22 through Saturday, Dec. 25. Teams will be back for testing and practices after 2 p.m. EST on Sunday, Dec. 26, which is a day earlier that originally planned.

The Buffalo Sabres already had all three of their games this week against the Columbus Blue Jackets and Colorado Avalanche postponed due to COVID-19 outbreaks with those teams.

Games will resume on Monday, Dec. 27, as the Sabres are scheduled to host the New York Islanders.
