It's been a record-setting year for North Texas home-builders.
For the year ending on March 31st, builders started more than 52,000 homes - an average of a thousand a week.
This is in the face of a sharp increase in the price of building materials like lumber.
Experts report construction costs are up 15 percent this year already. That's on top of a ten percent hike last year.
