WeWork has seven locations across North Texas. It's the largest North Texas shared office provider. But now those offices in Dallas - Fort Worth, West Plano, and Las Colinas will likely close.
The combined WeWork locations in North Texas amount to about half a million square feet of office space. DFW is already dealing with near-record office vacancies, totaling more than 75 million square feet.
WeWork was once valued at $45 Billion and is working to get out of most leases and re-negotiate others, according to bankruptcy filings. The company has already laid off thousands of employees.
