There are many people whose happiest days were spent inside an arcade playing games with their friends. Often those people will also claim the only thing missing from those days was alcohol. Luckily, in recent years the arcade bar has become a popular trend with multiple bars featuring arcade games throughout DFW.
Now, yet another is set to open in the metroplex next week and this one will be full of nostalgia.
On July 19, ‘Round Two’ will launch at 821 W. Davis St. in Oak Cliff, with some of the most classic arcade games available to play.
According to Dallas Culture Map, the arcade bar will feature classics such as Pac Man, X-Men, Ninja Turtles, Frogger, NBA Jam and The Simpsons. There will also be gaming consoles including Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo64, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
Along with all the retro games, ‘Round Two’ will also have board games, a virtual reality area, gaming tournaments, food and beverages. The arcade will be open seven days a week, and will be 21+ after 7PM. Now gamers don’t have to stay in their mom’s basement forever.
