With the AT&T Byron Nelson teeing off in hot, dry conditions in McKinney today the course will be firm and fast for a field that includes World No.1 golfer Scottie Scheffler.
The Highland Park and UT product is fresh off his April victory at The Masters and he's favored to win this weekend as well.
But it's a pretty strong field including Dallas Jesuit's Jordan Speith, Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas.
However, Brooks Koepka is a late scratch, withdrawing yesterday for undisclosed reasons.
This is the second year the Byron Nelson has been played at McKinney's par 72 TPC Craig Ranch where the tickets are all sold out.
Local favorites Scheffler and Speith tee off at 1:06 p.m. along with KH Lee, last year's Byron Nelson winner.
