Middle seats on Southwest Airlines flights will remain unsold through at least the end of November. The Dallas-based carrier announced that yesterday in an update for investors.
Southwest had earlier promised to limit ticket sales on its jets through October in an effort to reassure passengers during the Coronavirus outbreak.
The un-sold middle seats represent about one-third of Southwest's capacity.
Other airlines, including United and American, have stopped limiting their seat sales but Delta has announced it will not sell middle seats at least through January.
