A Dallas Home Depot destroyed by last year's tornado is ready to reopen this week.
Last year, on October 20th, a tornado swept through Dallas, Richardson and Garland -- leaving a $2-billion trail of destruction -- including the Home Depot on Forest Lane near Central Expressway.
Most of the store's employees were transferred to other Home Depot stores and many of them have decided to stay where they are.
Around 50 of the Forest Lane workers are back and the company has hired about 150 more in time for Thursday's official reopening.
