With the Christmas shopping season upon us and with all the deliveries that means UPS is doing it's one-day, nation-wide hiring drive today, including Dallas-Fort Worth.
A press release says UPS is looking to fill more than 2,400 positions in North Texas -- including seasonal drivers, driver helpers and package handlers.
In the release, Chief Human Resources Officer Charlene Thomas says "for tens of thousands of Americans, it's an opportunity to land one of the country's best seasonal jobs, with the potential to turn into a career."
The jobs they're hiring for pay anywhere from $16 to $17.50 an hour.
