An elderly driver is in the hospital after losing control of his car yesterday and going airborne before smashing into a building at JP Elder Middle School.
Police believe the car hit a curb at high speed and flipped in mid-air before the crash.
The driver was already out of his car when police and paramedics arrived. But investigators can't say if he climbed out himself or was, perhaps, ejected on impact.
Officials say the man had serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
At least six other cars were damaged.
