Four men have been indicted for the capital murder of three men at a crowded Dallas block party where the shooting sent hundreds fleeing.
The scene was the area of Hamilton Park right across the street from the Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet school. Hundreds of people were at a block party July 4th when gunmen suddenly appeared and opened fire.
By the time the smoke cleared, three men were dead and another three individuals were wounded.
Four men from North Texas now face capital murder charges. Akil Anderson, Taqualon Jones, Bryce Jones and Kejuan Lewis were all arrested within days of the crime.
They are accused of killing 17-year old MiQuarius Alexander, 19-year old Hassan Blazer and 22-year old Alvin Murray.
Police say the crime scene was relatively small, but within that area crime scene investigators found more than 100 bullet casings.
The four men under indictment could face the death penalty.
