Can the Frenchie topple the Lab from its long-held perch as America's favorite dog breed?
According to the new rankings from the American Kennel Club, the little guy is just one spot away from the top.
While the Labrador Retriever is No. 1 for a record 30th consecutive year, the French Bulldog just passed the German Shepherd and Golden Retriever in move into the runner-up position. The AKC said French Bulldog registrations are up more than 800% since 2010.
