The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a deadly officer-involved shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning.

Fort Worth officers arrived at a house on Westgate Dr. for a domestic disturbance call. Once they got there, they couldn't enter through the front entrance due to a second metal screen door not opening. However, it was noted that there was a man inside the house holding a knife and "acting aggressively" toward other people inside.

Officers then went to the back of the house to try to force their way inside when the man with the knife charged at officers. The officers opened fire and shot the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was injured in the incident.

This is a developing story. Come back for more updates.
