Crandall police confirm that an 11-year-old shot outside an elementary school Sunday night, has been released from the hospital. Assistant Chief Ivan Elizarras also confirmed to News Radio 1080 KRLD that the shooting was an accident and involved another 11-year-old.
The shooting happened around 7:45pm Sunday near Opal Smith Elementary. The wounded youth was airlifted to a Dallas hospital before being released today (Monday March 30th).
