Last Thursday, Arlington Police arrested the suspect for a deadly shooting that occurred back in October.
Police found 28-year-old Alexander Rivas dead in his home in South Arlington. Officers were coming to his home to conduct a welfare check. After finding the body, they conducted an investigation. Arlington Police arrested 20-year-old Marshall McLemore last Thursday in Corpus Christi and charged him with murder.
McLemore was the person of interest when the Arlington investigators found his fingerprint in Rivas' home. Multiple witnesses also gave information that led to McLemore being the suspect. APD also found phone records of the two talking right before Rivas' death.
McLemore is currently in the Nueces County Jail while he awaits extradition to Tarrant County.
