Dallas (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police received a call on Saturday afternoon to inform them of a double murder, with the man calling admitting to being the perpetrator.
Police say they were called to 12884 Noel Road at approximately 2:40 p.m. on August 14th. The call was placed by 21-year-old Collie Orrett Ridguard who told police he had killed two people.
Once police arrived on location, the suspect surrendered to officers and was taken into custody and later to a local hospital for a medical evaluation. The victims were pronounced dead on the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office will confirm their identities and notify their next of kin before releasing their names to the public.
Ridguard was released from the hospital and transported to the Dallas County Jail. He has been charged with Capital Murder. His bond has not yet been set.
