22-year-old murdered in Fort Worth, mother vows justice

A Wichita Falls woman is vowing justice for her daughter who was shot dead on a Fort Worth freeway this week.

54-year-old Stanley Szeliga is charged with murder in the shooting death of 22-year-old Abby Saldana. Just weeks prior to being shot dead as she was driving on Highway 183 in Fort Worth, Saldana took to Instagram to show the GPS tracking device that she discovered attached to her car.

Speaking from her home in Wichita Falls, Saldana's mother, Jessica Contreras, tells NBC 5 she will do everything possible to ensure that Szeliga is convicted.

While Fort Worth Police have not established the relationship between Saldana and Szeliga, if there is one, Szeliga made several recent posts about Saldana on social media, implying that the two knew one another as far back as July.
