Two men face capital murder charges in connection with the deaths of three people in Parker County earlier this month, the sheriff’s office says.
Nineteen-year-old Barrett Copeland and 27-year-old Trin Lawrence McKnight are charged with capital murder, according to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office. They are being held at the Parker County Jail, where their bonds were all set at $1 million.
Copeland also faces a charge of burglary of a habitation.
Their charges are linked to the deaths earlier this month of Tiffany Ann Williams, 44, David Wayne Walker, 42, and Robbie Allen Head, 55, whose bodies were located in Hood County on Thursday.
Earlier that week, the sheriff’s office had asked for help looking for three people who might be in danger.
The sheriff’s office said the murders took place on April 20 at a home in southern Parker County.
There was no information immediately available on what led to the deaths.
The sheriff's office initially arrested 45-year-old Dennis Craig Alexander in connection with the murders, but said Wednesday that recent findings exonerated him.
Officials said the two men charged with murder identified Alexander as a suspect, but investigators concluded he wasn't connected to the crime.
